A little something I like to call Happy Hour!

Emphasis on the “happy” because this round is on me — without all the usual sticky strings that come along with anything “free”— AND because we’ll discuss a brand messaging strategy that will get your business where you’re wanting it to go!

We’ll talk strategy, goals, & how my expertise behind the pen can propel you toward your objectives. If I’m speaking your language & you’re ready to make moves, I’ll draft up a custom proposal with deliverables, timeline, & investment and await your final go-ahead!

Step 2: The Kickoff

Or what I like to call, brand “mise en place” — any foodies in the house?

“Mise en Place” — a French word meaning “everything in its place”; used in the kitchen to describe acquiring, organizing, & prepping all of the necessary ingredients required to seamlessly prepare a brilliant meal

Once the proposal is signed, sealed, delivered — & I’m yours — with a 50% deposit, I’ll lead us through a Creative Brief. This becomes my “mise en place” during the writing process, as it outlines tone voice, unique selling opportunities, competitor information, fundamental goals, & every little crumb of information in between that ensures my copy is hitting all of the marks.

Step 3: The Creative Process

To cooking up an irresistible message I go!

With the Creative Brief in my back pocket, I launch into my tried & true brand writing method. If you missed it on the home page, let me summarize real quick because this nitty gritty is key to getting the most bang for your copywriting buck…

  • How is your story relevant? You know your story best, but I specialize in highlighting the elements that I know your audience will love.

  • What’s your ecosystem? I dive into competitors, market conditions, & any clues that point me to what kind of message will get noticed.

  • Who really is your audience? I mean do they like reading People Magazine or Stephen King on the plane? I need to get slightly stalker status with them before I can craft a message that’ll intrigue them.

  • How do we get seen in a saturated market? Well, this is why I’ll supplement a wholesome brand personality with SEO keyword love.

Once I have a draft I know you’ll be proud of, we’ll powwow and talk openly & honestly about what’s working & what needs some more zest.

My #1 priority is crafting a piece that you can’t wait a single moment longer to share with the world, so until we hit that point, I’ll continue recipe testing until we get there.

Once we have a piece that you’re ready to shout from the rooftops, I’ll send over the final invoice for the remaining 50%, and bam, you’ve got yourself a piece of copy that hustles as hard as you do.
