BELLA+CANVAS is a retailer & wholesaler offering premium basics from hoodies to joggers, men to infants. Their superior craftsmanship, USA-made quality, and commitment to sustainability have made them a leading brand within the blank clothing industry.

target & goals 

As a dual-function company with a retail arm as well as a wholesale arm, it was important to differentiate between these two audiences and therefore the two distinct voices that would be heard by each group. From emails to site to postcards and campaign global messaging, I’ve developed two voices that are cut from the same cloth but differ in their tone and delivery.

my special ingredient 

Since a majority of BELLA+CANVAS consumers are buying blanks with the intent of custom printing and selling post-purchase, I knew that when speaking to this population, copy needs to not only appease them, but also show a consideration for the consumers they’re trying to appease. Rather than taking the consumer at face value, diving deeper resulted in a messaging strategy that gets them eager to build their brand on a solid foundation, that being BELLA+CANVAS.
