I’ve had the pleasure of freelancing with this company, with my most recent work covering an educational blog post for Hawaii Unified, a sustainable energy provider and developer on island.

target & goals

The goal of this article was to support Hawaii Unified’s mission of educating the consumer about sustainable energy and Hawaii’s mission to go 100% clean energy by 2045. This piece pointed back to the recent ice storm in Texas as an influential reason for investing in clean energy in Hawaii.

my special ingredient

Hawaii Unified provides a modern, engaging brand identity that gives life to the typically mundane topic of energy. With this in mind, I used language that was playful to describe a scenario that resonates with all readers, grabbing their attention and keeping it. I structure this article in a way that followed the natural progression of the human mind—why should I care, what is the data, what can I do about it. This article educates while also entertaining and providing value.
